Psychiatric Evaluation
During the initial 60 minute evaluation, we will discuss history and symptoms to assess and guide our treatment plan. We believe in a collaborative model to empower you in making decisions for your mental health care.
Follow Up
During the follow up visits, we will discuss response, efficacy and side effects to medications. We will have ongoing conversation of risk and benefit to continue psychiatric medication to help with your mental health. The goal is to minimize medication use as much as possible while optimizing your quality of life. As part of treatment, lab studies may be ordered if indicated.
Brief Psychotherapy
Follow up appointments are typically 30 minutes to incorporate both medication management as well as brief psychotherapy to address stressors, understand social dynamics, and discuss coping mechanisms.
